A big thank you to those who joined us for our inaugural meet-up of the St. Catharines Real Estate Investing Club.
We are pleased to announce that we are holding our next event on Tuesday June 21st. This event is open to anyone who is or might be interested in the world of Real Estate Investment.
We are pleased to welcome this month’s guest speakers to our next event who have both made the leap from part-time to full time investor:
Julie Vance bought her 1st rental property at the age of 27 years old as a single Mother. She got a Vendor Take Back Mortgage, borrowed the down payment from her own Mom and used a Joint Venture Partner to make the deal happen. She rented the home for a couple years before moving into it.
In 2012, Julie and her husband John Kiely started buying properties for investment purposes and today they own 6. Their plan is to add 5 more properties this year!
They partner with people to help them achieve success in real estate that may not have all the resources, time or expertise to do it themselves. She is also the current President Elect for Mountain Rotary for the upcoming year starting July 1st.
Julie recently joined forces with her daughter Sherri Mathura to launch Rent NOW Properties Inc., offering “Property Management the Way it Should Be!”
Julie has been featured in Canadian Real Estate Wealth Magazine (C.R.E.W.), the Rock Star Inner Circle monthly newsletter and has been a guest speaker at Real Estate Investing Clubs.
Her expertise is to buy positive cash flowing investment properties in great areas that are under value. She pushes the value up through renovations and then refinances to pull cash out.
Julie can be found at InvestWithJulieVance.com where she features some of the before and after pictures of some her renovations.

Don Vogel is a successful real estate investor currently living in Mississauga. He has been focused on actively investing in real estate since 2012, and he currently owns 12 single family homes in the Barrie area. Due in large part to the success he has had procuring cash flowing assets, Don left his full time job with a company that he had been with for over 20 years in 2014.
He enjoys looking for investment opportunities that may require significant effort upfront but provide a long term payoff and result in a diversified income stream. In addition to investing in real estate, Don purchases mortgages and has been active in limited partnerships in real estate development projects.
The event is free-of-charge so please bring lots of business cards and questions you might have for Julie & Don.
Please email info@welcomehomepropertysolutions.ca if you have any questions or require any further information on this event.
Look forward to seeing everyone on the 21st!
